Santa Barbara's flawless climates and coastal location, and Ojai's inland valley, offer a mecca for the sports enthusiast. Whether it is golfing on a championship course, horseback riding in the foothills, sailing in the channel, or gliding in the Santa Ynez Valley, the Central Coast provides a wealth of activities. IDP can also produce fun-filled team building competitions or a road rally showcasing the Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez and Ojai areas. |

Soaring Thrill to the exhilaration of free flight as you soar in a glider over the beautiful wine country of the Santa Ynez Valley. Guests are accompanied by a licensed pilot and encouraged to take their turn at the controls. This will be an experience long remembered. |

Fishing The waters of the Santa Barbara Channel are rich in kelp beds that are the home to many of the smaller game fish caught on our half-day expeditions. Sea bass, halibut, rockfish and red snapper are caught on a regular basis. Fresh water bass fishing is offered at nearby Lake Casitas. |

Sailing Sail away along the central coast of California enjoying the beautiful coastline, mountain range and Channel Islands. Professional captains will point out specific highlights during the sail and allow guests to take the wheel and captain the ship. During the sail, harbor seals, basking sharks, and dolphins are frequently sighted. |

Downhill Biking From the summit of Condor Point, guests board their specially equipped bikes for the 3,000-ft descent to the beach. The group is accompanied by a chase vehicle and experienced riders to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests. |

Horseback Riding Explore the spectacular scenery of Santa Barbara's foothills. The trails wind their way through woods, crossing streams, passing waterfalls to the mountain tops where guests can enjoy wonderful views of the canyons, Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands. |

Wine Country Biking The Santa Ynez valley is quickly becoming one of California's greatest wine producing regions. This tour will take your guests on a downhill ride through the famous Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, home to numerous wineries. Our road is bordered to the north by the San Rafael Mountains, and rolls gently downward through the oak tree lined country road leading to the quaint historic town of Los Olivos. |

Channel Islands The only National Park in Southern California, the Channel Islands, offers visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world. Fixed wing planes take a scenic flight over the islands and land on Santa Rosa. Once on Santa Rosa, guests will be given ranger guided jeep tours, have time to hike and explore on their own, and have a delicious picnic lunch. |

Mountain Jeep Tour Whether in the back country of Santa Barbara or the mountains of Ojai, guests will take part in an exciting 4 x 4 adventure. Along the way, guests will learn about the history, the flora, and the wildlife of the area from their driver-guides. There are a variety of tours from which to choose including both on-road and off-road adventures. We can also include winery visits, hiking and picnics. |

Road Rally - Photo Scavenger
Hunt What could be more fun than a wild and crazy Road Rally though Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley or the Ojai Valley? Each vehicle will carry a team of participants and pit boss with a stopwatch, clues and rules. A series of clues will lead from location to location where specific acts must be performed and photographed for proof. This event not only showcases the area, but is fun and competitive for all!
